The room at Blue Jay Lodge was absolutely stunning! I felt like royalty in the luxuriously decorated space with the elegant wooden furniture and four-posted bed. The tiled floors gave it a touch of elegance, and I loved relaxing in the seating area after a busy day. It was just perfect for our family.

The only thing I didn't particularly like was that the room had a private bathroom fitted with a bath. Personally, I prefer a shower, but I know others may enjoy a nice soak in the tub.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The rooms were absolutely stunning and the breakfasts were delicious. We learned so much about the local area from the owners and they were very helpful in providing directions and recommendations for restaurants and attractions. We had a fabulous time at a home away from home in Hazyview. We were upgraded to a spacious, self-catering unit modeled after a Zulu-dwelling. The daily "happy hour" get-togethers provided us with valuable tips and advice. The location was perfect for visiting Kruger Park and playing golf. The owners, Margi and Phil, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. we highly recommend this stunning stay with warm hospitality.
